Software to examine multi-locus genotype patterns associated with susceptibility to complex multifactorial diseases. Designed and Implemented at the Vanderbilt Center for Human Genetics Research.

The VAnderbilt Multi- Processor Integrated Research Engine(VAMPIRE) is a large-scale cluster of personal computers, sometimes called a "Beowulf" system. It is part of a high performance computing (HPC) center, built and operated by Vanderbilt faculty, and serves the needs of Vanderbilt investigators in a wide range of disciplines including biomedical research.
